Recent Show Click here to see the KENNY HARRIS and JAMES DAVID THOMAS Exhibtion Beginning January 25th, Terrence Rogers Fine Art is pleased to present the work of two southern California artists: Kenny Harris and James David Thomas. This will be the first gallery show for Kenny Harris (Kenneth Littlejohn Harris) in southern California. Titled “Meditations” on New York and L.A., Harris paints rooms doorways, and windows, with highly polished shiny floors revealing the succession of spaces. These gestural paintings are passageways and portals of contemplation. James David Thomas paints broad swaths of ocean, beach, city and desert, on wood panel, using the grain of the wood as an integral part of the composition. His nocturnes display moon-light and city-light with delicacy and precision. Thomas has exhibited in Los Angeles since 1988. |
